Palmyran can do like Roman but I think Romans are faster than Palmyran on water map at Hills it is different Palmyran could beat them.

Even though Macedonian stone throwers are quite effective and cheap I mean they are about the same level of civilization but Greeks got the clear advantange Macedonian can't run unlike Greeks can travel around the map and survive.
